Born and raised on Cape Cod, Chuck’s passion for building started as a teenager and has grown into a lifelong career. After graduating from the University of Maine in 1983, he founded Betterwood Homes with one clear mission: build exceptional residential homes with craftsmanship, honesty, and communication at the core.

Chuck’s leadership reflects a hands-on approach — from early design collaboration to final walk-through — and he’s proud of the many repeat clients and long-term relationships he has built. Outside of work, he lives in Dennis with his wife Paula, their family, and their dog, Charley.
Paul Sullivan
A Long-Standing Cape Cod Builder & Design Leader
Paul Sullivan has been shaping the Cape Cod landscape for over 50 years. As the founder of Paul Sullivan Associates, he built the first spec home in Dennis more than half a century ago and has since enriched the community with more than 200 custom homes.
Paul brings deep expertise in both building and real estate, combining aesthetic sensibility with practical experience. He also led the development of the Dennis Village Commons area on historic Route 6A — a testament to his long-term commitment to local community growth.
Paul credits his success to consistency, attention to detail, and decades of hands-on experience. When he’s not working, you might find him out with his loyal companion, his labradoodle Chance.
