Led by Chuck Deluga and Paul Sullivan, the team brings together decades of hands-on building experience, local knowledge, and a shared passion for creating homes that reflect the timeless character of Cape Cod living.

Chuck Deluga

Founder, Betterwood Homes

Born and raised on Cape Cod, Chuck Deluga turned a passion for building into a lifelong career dedicated to quality custom homes and lasting client relationships. After graduating from the University of Maine in 1983, he founded Betterwood Homes with a simple mission: to build exceptional residential homes with craftsmanship, honesty, and communication at the center of every project.

With more than four decades of experience, Chuck brings a highly hands-on approach to every build, guiding projects from early design collaboration through final walkthrough. His credentials include Certified OSHA Builder, Licensed Construction Supervisor, Licensed Home Improvement Contractor, and Licensed Real Estate Broker. Known for his attention to detail and strong client relationships, Chuck takes pride in the many repeat clients and referrals that have helped shape Betterwood Homes over the years.

Paul Sullivan

Founder, Paul Sullivan Associates

Paul Sullivan has played a significant role in shaping the Cape Cod landscape for more than 50 years. As the founder of Paul Sullivan Associates, he built the first spec home in Dennis over half a century ago and has since contributed more than 200 custom homes throughout the region.

Combining extensive experience in both construction and real estate, Paul brings a unique perspective rooted in design, functionality, and long-term value. He also led the development of Dennis Village Commons along historic Route 6A, reflecting his lasting commitment to thoughtful community development on Cape Cod.

Together, Chuck and Paul bring generations of local experience, practical expertise, and a shared dedication to building homes that stand the test of time. Their collaborative approach and deep understanding of Cape Cod living continue to define the Betterwood Homes experience today.
